Frederick Kropp Sander was responsible for the Orchid Hybrid List.The original hand-written (by Frederick Kropp) copy of the ORCHID HYBRID LIST is in safe keeping at that mecca of orchid hybridising, the Eric Young Orchid Foundation, in Jersey, C.I., UK.

Many of the Foundations original collection were purchased from Sanders of St. Albans when the nursery closed in 1957/8. David Sander could not afford to buy the best plants himself!
